Following the reveal of The Powerpuff Girls x Nike (NYSE:NKE -2.61%) SB Dunk Low “Blossom” and “Buttercup”, Nike has unveiled the third colorway to complete the trio. The highly-anticipated “Bubbles” joins the other two hues for the holiday release later this year. The collection takes inspiration from the beloved animated 1998 cartoon, The Powerpuff Girls, created by Craig McCracken. The show focused on three girls, Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, who were born from their father, Professor Utonium’s genius concoction. Each of the girls possess a different super power. While Blossom commanded ice and Buttercup has extreme strength and fighting skills, Bubbles can harness sonic screams and communicate with animals. Living in harmony in Townsville, the trio are the beginning of a heroine story.

This holiday season, Nike SB has collaborated with the beloved The Powerpuff Girls to bring a sense of nostalgia by paying homage to each of the girls’ iconic outfits and vibrant personalitis. “Bubbles” comes in a color scheme consisting of blue chill, deep royal blue and active pink hues to match Bubbles’ own distinct look. Similar to the other two colorways, the upper is constructed in a snakeskin-like leather texture in blue which is complemented by yellow laces and a Swoosh logo, mirroring Bubbles’ blonde hair. On the heels are a set of captivating eyes. The shoe features reflective trims, as well as co-branded tongues and comic graphic insoles as a nod to the ’90s TV series.

Look out for The Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB Dunk Low “Bubbles” sneakers arriving in select retailers and online at Nike for $135 USD on December 14.

In other footwear news, Jordan Stadium 90 arrives in “Sail/Royal Blue.”
